David Tully

David Tully is the founder of Tully, a leading legal recruitment consultancy with offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.  Before moving into recruitment and consulting, David was formerly a partner in the Hong Kong office of an international law firm and has over 25 years' experience of working in Hong Kong and China. He maintains extensive contacts with both international and domestic law firms operating throughout China and the Region. As part of the Partners and Teams division at Tully, David has been involved in a number of high profile individual and team moves in Hong Kong and China and in advising law firms on new start ups and expansion strategies.

Ornan Harrison Abouhatsira

Ornan Harrison Abouhatsira works in the Partners and Teams division in Hong Kong and specializes in identifying Partners and Teams who wish to make a move within the Hong Kong market. Ornan has been working as a recruiter with Tully in Hong Kong for a number of years and has a very detailed understanding of the lateral hire process and the methods which can be employed to identify the best laterals and teams for clients. Prior to joining Tully Ornan worked as a lawyer in Israel where he gained the professional standards required to handle sensitive senior end moves involving Partners and teams.

Shawn Chen

Shawn Chen is the Managing Consultant of Tully China and whilst based in Beijing splits his time between Tully’s offices in Beijing and Shanghai. His practice is focused on acting for law firms to recruit senior level lawyers particularly those with a PRC background. Shawn has been involved in a number of ground breaking recruitment “firsts” in China including recruiting PRC “domestic” laterals between Chinese law firms; the movement of senior laterals from PRC firms to international firms and assisting with moving foreign lawyers from international firms to PRC firms. Shawn holds an M.A. in Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Shanghai University and is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Helen Guo

Helen Guo is the Senior Consultant of Tully China, where her practice concentrates on acting for MNCs including financial institutions to hire General Counsels, Mid-Senior Counsels and Compliance Officers. Prior to establishing her legal recruitment career, Helen handled contract management and project coordination which enriched her communication skills with corporate clients and her understanding of market demands for in-house lawyers. Helen received an LL.B. and B.A. in English from China University of Politics and Law, and is pursuing an LL.M. degree from the same university through on-job study. Helen is fluent in Chinese and English.
